Trade in Laptop Today and Get Cash!

We’re now only four months away from the end of the year, and it has been a good year for computers. We’ve seen the rise of the Ivy Bridge CPU from Intel, significantly improving performance while lowering power consumption.

We also see the release of new video cards. Last year, NVIDIA and AMD battled it out, releasing plenty of high end video cards. Now, they’re chasing each other again in the battle for the most powerful video card you can cram into a laptop.

If your laptop is old and it runs on previous hardware generations, then you need to upgrade now! Windows 8 is just around the corner, and the wonderful interface is bound to captivate everyone. I’m definitely upgrading to Windows 8 when it is released. You can get cash for laptops if you sell your old one now.

The world’s biggest manufacturing companies, namely Dell, Samsung, Apple and the like are all benefiting from today’s impressive hardware. Apple is stretching the limits with their Retina Display laptops, doubling the pixels for a wonderful viewing experience.

Even boutique manufacturers are making a great living nowadays thanks to their amazing laptops and custom desktops.

So how about trade-in laptop today and get a new one? When you get a new one with the latest upgrades, it’s like you’ve won the lottery or something since the new computer will feel like it’s the best thing ever.

If you’re not into gaming, you can purchase an ultrabook. These super sleek laptops have a very slim profile very similar to the MacBook Air. If you’re not a gamer, then you can purchase one of these machines. They’re also very affordable. Most quality ultrabooks are in the 600-1000 dollar range.

If you ask me though, I’ll go with the Acer ultrabook with a dedicated graphics card! It only costs around 800 bucks, and it even has a DVD drive. I’m not sure if that still classifies as an ultrabook, but hey, you get a lot of stuff for the price.

As mentioned earlier, the new processors by Intel consume less power, so they’re guaranteed to make laptops last longer. The same can be said with graphics cards on laptops. They are getting smaller too without being expensive.

If you know a place that customizes laptops, then you can pick out a CPU and a GPU that fits your budget and you can mix and match the parts. Boutique gaming companies have extensive options and if you’re feeling a bit hipster, then you can purchase their products.

All in all, the landscape of laptops definitely looks amazing right now. What I’m really waiting for is the release of the GTX 690M by NVIDIA.

The desktop version, the 690, is NVIDIA’s most powerful GPU to date. It features two GPUs packed into one motherboard! It’s practically an SLI GPU. If it’s installed on laptops, then the world will never be the same for me again! I’ll be in FPS heaven.

Okay, now that I’m done ruminating on how amazing technology is today, don’t take my word for it. You should experience it yourself.
