The Best Place to Sell Laptops

Selling a laptop online can be quite a drag. When you ask yourself the question, “what’s the best place to sell laptops?” you actually don’t have any idea! There are plenty of ways you can sell your laptop online. You can go to online marketplaces, advertise a garage sale or go to specific forums. It’s all up to you!

Let’s go through a little rundown of the options just mentioned.

Online Marketplaces

Online marketplaces are some of the most chaotic places you can sell laptops. As the name implies, online marketplaces are crowded with tons of other sellers in their own little online stalls. You’re competing with millions of other people. Unless you have the best laptop on Earth, you don’t stand a chance.

What are some examples of online marketplaces? Examples include the almighty eBay and Craigslist. On eBay alone, you can already get lost. At first, you’ll want to get rid of your laptop there, but you’ll actually end up buying stuff instead. The same goes for Craigslist. You’re practically bombarded with information and a lot of appealing deals.

These places are generally hard to make a sale for the plain fact that millions of people are doing the same thing.

Advertising Online

For more personal communication with prospective buyers of your laptop, you can advertise online. For example, you can post a garage sale on your Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Not only can you trade in your laptop there, you can also sell other stuff you want to get rid of. Of course, you have to prepare yourself for the number of people that will visit your home, so it’s a bigger hassle, especially if your only goal is to get rid of your laptop.

When going down this route, be specific of what you want. Should I get rid of just one thing or a lot of things at the same time?

Online Forums

There are many online forums that cater to specific segments. If you have a certain laptop brand, there’s likely a forum dedicated only to that. In most cases, online forums allow you to sell stuff there, but you have to follow the rules about posting.

It’s pretty much an online marketplace, but the volume of people is drastically lower so it’s easier.

However there are other alternatives.

Buyback Sites

There are many websites online that offer cash for gadgets at prices similar to online marketplaces. We, at CashForLaptops, operate by giving you cash for your laptop in a very simple manner.

What makes us worth your time and your gadget is that we offer a no – nonsense way to get rid of that old laptop of yours. We have a very easy way of dealing. Cash For Laptops Review-The Next Gen Ultrabooks

Ultrabooks for the Next Generation, A CashForLaptops Review

Remember when ultrabooks were first released, there was a possibility that touchscreen capability would be included?

Well, that dream is real now. Recently, two companies introduced ultrabooks with touchscreens - Toshiba and HP. Popularly known for their affordable laptops, it looks like these two companies are pushing the envelope. There are so many ultrabooks in our generation today that you want to unload your junk and get cash for laptops.

CashForLaptops.com can help you experience these amazing Ultrabooks:

Toshiba Satellite U945

The reliable Satellite series just got even better. The Toshiba Satellite U945 hopes to be an ultrabook for the new generations, while managing to be affordable. The body is made from plastic and weighs around four pounds and is 0.78 inches. While that may not be a super ultrabook, again, affordability is the central theme here.

It features a 14 - inch screen, and comes with the latest Intel Ivy Bridge processor (i3 or i5). Other features include Windows 8 as the installed operating system.

Screen resolution is 1366 x 768 pixels, which isn't bad. Storage option comes with a hybrid drive (500 GB HD and 32 GB SSD). RAM isn't specified, but since this is a budget ultrabook, it could be 4 or 6 GB. There are also HDMI, Ethernet, and USB ports.

HP Envy Spectre XT

The glamorous Spectre ultrabook of HP is getting a new sibling. The Spectre 14 is a glass covered laptop that features great hardware and design. The XT hopes to continue that tradition, only without the glass.

This laptop looks to be a good winner for HP. It features a 15 - inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. That should be enough to turn the audience to HP's favor. As mentioned at the beginning, this laptop features a touchscreen display to work with the upcoming Windows 8.

The laptop looks to be very portable. It's only 0.7 inches thick and it weighs 4.8 pounds (it does happen to have a 15 - inch screen). Other features include a backlit keyboard. Expect to see Beats Audio and Ivy Bridge processors in this machine.

For those who will be purchasing the laptop, a program named SmartFriend Setup and SmartFriend Complete will be installed free for 90 days. It is a service where you can immediately ask things about your laptop and how it works, without having to call tech support.

HP Envy x2

HP has also unveiled a new kind of ultrabook/tablet hybrid - it is actually both! Aside from being a laptop with a touchscreen, it can also be a tablet. Just remove the screen and that's basically it.

This laptop features an 11.6 - inch screen that will feel slightly bigger but more welcome than 10 -inch tablets. It features a 1366 x 768 resolution and is powered by Intel's Atom processor, which you find in many netbooks.

There's 64 GB of storage, Windows 8, HDMI, SD slot and an 8 MP camera.

Conclusion

Official prices and release dates aren't set, but seeing they come with Windows 8, it'll likely come in November or December. Expect to see wonderful reviews about these new devices, especially Microsoft's new software.

CashForLaptops.com can give you the highest quote if you sell your old laptop for this one. So what are you waiting for? Go trade your laptop with us and buy tone of these ultrabooks.

Trade in Laptop Today and Get Cash!

We’re now only four months away from the end of the year, and it has been a good year for computers. We’ve seen the rise of the Ivy Bridge CPU from Intel, significantly improving performance while lowering power consumption.

We also see the release of new video cards. Last year, NVIDIA and AMD battled it out, releasing plenty of high end video cards. Now, they’re chasing each other again in the battle for the most powerful video card you can cram into a laptop.

If your laptop is old and it runs on previous hardware generations, then you need to upgrade now! Windows 8 is just around the corner, and the wonderful interface is bound to captivate everyone. I’m definitely upgrading to Windows 8 when it is released. You can get cash for laptops if you sell your old one now.

The world’s biggest manufacturing companies, namely Dell, Samsung, Apple and the like are all benefiting from today’s impressive hardware. Apple is stretching the limits with their Retina Display laptops, doubling the pixels for a wonderful viewing experience.

Even boutique manufacturers are making a great living nowadays thanks to their amazing laptops and custom desktops.

So how about trade-in laptop today and get a new one? When you get a new one with the latest upgrades, it’s like you’ve won the lottery or something since the new computer will feel like it’s the best thing ever.

If you’re not into gaming, you can purchase an ultrabook. These super sleek laptops have a very slim profile very similar to the MacBook Air. If you’re not a gamer, then you can purchase one of these machines. They’re also very affordable. Most quality ultrabooks are in the 600-1000 dollar range.

If you ask me though, I’ll go with the Acer ultrabook with a dedicated graphics card! It only costs around 800 bucks, and it even has a DVD drive. I’m not sure if that still classifies as an ultrabook, but hey, you get a lot of stuff for the price.

As mentioned earlier, the new processors by Intel consume less power, so they’re guaranteed to make laptops last longer. The same can be said with graphics cards on laptops. They are getting smaller too without being expensive.

If you know a place that customizes laptops, then you can pick out a CPU and a GPU that fits your budget and you can mix and match the parts. Boutique gaming companies have extensive options and if you’re feeling a bit hipster, then you can purchase their products.

All in all, the landscape of laptops definitely looks amazing right now. What I’m really waiting for is the release of the GTX 690M by NVIDIA.

The desktop version, the 690, is NVIDIA’s most powerful GPU to date. It features two GPUs packed into one motherboard! It’s practically an SLI GPU. If it’s installed on laptops, then the world will never be the same for me again! I’ll be in FPS heaven.

Okay, now that I’m done ruminating on how amazing technology is today, don’t take my word for it. You should experience it yourself.

Cash For Laptops Review

When we sell laptops online, we ask ourselves plenty of questions. Stuff like:

Who will buy my laptop?

Where do I sell my laptop?

How will I sell my laptop?

How much will I sell my laptop for?

These are some pretty basic questions to ask when you sell your laptop online. There’s other stuff to think about too:

Am I walking into a scam?

Will the buyer try to murder me?

The last question there is a serious one. Someone actually got killed because of Craigslist. Of course, we don’t want that to happen!

That’s why I want to bring your attention to one website that manages to exceed my expectations – CashForLaptops.com.

This website is a very cool place to trade laptop. How so?

When you visit their website, you’ll see that on the front page how they’ll buy your laptop. The first thing you do is enter the model of your laptop, and they provide you with a quote. The price depends on the condition of your laptop such as scratches and other stuff. After that they send you a box where you place your laptop, and send it back to them.

Afterwards, you get an email regarding your transaction. They’ll say that they have to assess your laptop. Now, as mentioned before, the quote will change. It can either go up or down once they personally inspect your laptop.

Once negotiations are done, they’ll send you your money by either mailing you a check, or sending money through PayPal if you have an account there.

Is CashForLaptops trustworthy? Rightfully so. As you can see on their website, they have plenty of proof to show that they are a legitimate business.

What are the benefits when you transact with CashForLaptops? For one, the selling is so much easier than going to websites like eBay and the like. First of all, you already have a sure buyer, no matter the condition of the laptop. That’s right - they purchase laptops in any condition, even if it’s already busted!

Another benefit to selling your laptop on this website is that you don’t have to post pictures anymore. No more of those *insert what part the buyer wants to see here* and any of that. All you do is type in your laptop model and that’s it!

They have an extensive database of brands, so you’ll definitely be guaranteed a fair price when you sell your laptop to them.

One more thing – you don’t have to mess with annoying hagglers when you transact with CashForLaptops. No more of those last price questions that drive sellers insane. Again, as with the pictures, you don’t have to pull your hair out anymore. All you got to do is provide the necessary information and that’s it.

All in all, Cash For Laptops provides a great avenue for people who want to get rid of their laptops for a good price and in an efficient manner. I will definitely recommend this to my friends who have laptops to get rid of. At least they’ll be able to do so easily.
